ABOUT ME

I started with nothing but my iPhone and a big dream to make films that stir souls.

While there's certainly a long way to go, here's a little bit about me.

hey.

In the bustling world of visual storytelling, where frames paint vivid narratives, Arman Azad is an 18-year-old maestro of the lens. With a trailblazing spirit and a creative eye beyond his tender years, Arman has carved a name for himself as an award-winning filmmaker and photographer. His journey began humbly, capturing the essence of simple his cooking and conferences and events, his lens dancing through the crowd, freezing moments in time. For the last two years, he has swiftly risen through the ranks, and has found himself assuming leadership roles in various conferences and events, with his expertise in editing, photography, and videography commanding attention and acclaim.

Beyond the realm of MUN (Model United Nations), Arman lent his talents to diverse programs and organizations, orchestrating seamless visual experiences for audiences across various genres. From organizing and documenting the GAIA impact project and winning it, to collaborations with esteemed institutions like THIMUN, iScool and CIGI, his portfolio grew richer, weaving together a tapestry of captivating visuals.

He has also worked with various influencers and filmmakers within Doha with his most notable work remaining his collaboration with Match4Hope - where the biggest names in content and football came together to raise 8 MILLION USD in one night for education.

Yet Arman's lens wasn't confined to the boundaries of mere events; it sought to empower and uplift communities. As a photographer, he lent his artistry to projects that made a profound impact. From capturing the joyful spirit of a differently-abled student at QISH to immortalizing the compassion of community-driven initiatives like GAIA's food drive and community outreach events, Arman's camera lens became his instrument of change and empathy. Even within the auspices of Qatar Foundation's charitable ventures during Ramadan, his photographs were a visual hymn to the power of giving and the spirit of togetherness.

Arman's creative vision also found a home in the bustling realm of food and travel. Collaborating with renowned brands and companies, his work transformed plates of delicacies and destinations into visual cinematography. Nando's to Raising Cane's, McDonald's and more are just few of Arman's local and international clients with whom he has managed to successfully capture and display a different side of food. His reach extended further still, as Arman collaborated with influential figures and covered the vibrant pulse of Doha with Wayward Gourmet, TripleFQatar, Ahmed Pato, Qatar Advert, Mansour Melouli and more.Yet, Arman's true artistry lay in the realm of narrative. In the pursuit of storytelling, he embarked on a journey to produce evocative short films that transcended the boundaries of time and space. From beginning to end, he aims for every frame to breathe life into stories that stirred the soul, leaving indelible imprints on the hearts of viewers. Fresh after writing and completely producing over 5 short films, he is currently on the voyage of documenting his solo travels, and discovering a new side to visual storytelling that is hopefully to inspire a new generation of filmmakers, while establishing his future in Spain, where he's studying Bsc. Marketing.
